Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is a globally recognized body for professional accountants in 180 countries.
ACCA consists of a series of professional exams that you need to pass (14 papers in total). As part of the ACCA programme, you will gain technical knowledge in the field of accounting and finance, as well as other areas such as organizational management and strategy.
Upon completion of ACCA’s professional exams and the Professional Ethics Module (PEM), along with 3 years of relevant working experience, you will be a Chartered Certified Accountant, which is a term only ACCA members can hold.

Dr. Parmindar Singh, DBA (Australia), MBA (UM), B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science (UKM)
Parmindar has a doctorate from the University of Newcastle (Australia), an M.B.A. from
University Malaya (UM) and a B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science from the National University of
Parmindar has been teaching since 1987 and therefore has more than 30 years of experience.
Through the years, he has taught in many courses such as ACCA, MBA, CIMA, ICSA, NCC,
ABE and LCCI. Of these courses, he has mainly focused on ACCA and has been teaching the
ACCA since 1991.
In addition to teaching, he has also conducted corporate training for Fuji-Xerox (IT), Petronas
(Project Management) and Shell (Brunei) (Systems Analysis and Design), and Kredit
Microfinance (Cambodia) (Corporate Governance and Strategy) and in-house training in risk
management, internal controls and corporate governance for Brown Coffee (Cambodia’s largest

His research areas are in strategic management, corporate governance, ethics, corporate social
responsibility, and information systems.
Mr Omar Faruk, BSc (Hons), CA (M), ACCA (UK)
S M Omar Faruk is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
and also the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is working as an Audit Manager in a
renowned Chartered Accountancy Firm in KL.
Mr Omar has been lecturing ACCA papers since 2011. With such extensive lecturing
experience combined with vast Professional Audit experiences, he is an expert with both the
Theoretical and Practical aspects of Accountancy and Finance.
Mr Omar enlightens his lectures by bringing references from his Professional Experiences,
clearly explaining the study topics with appropriate practical examples.
Being an Audit Manager, Mr Omar provides Leadership and Direction to his team to
successfully achieve goals and objectives of audit assignments. He supervises his subordinates
and provides coaching and mentorship to help them realise their full potential.
Mr Omar also works closely with ACCA Malaysia Community towards professional and
academic development of ACCA members, affiliates and students.
